We have over 400 eggdrops connected to many different IRC networks worldwide. We offer over 100 global vanity hosts to mask your ips. Unfortunately IPv6 ips are no longer available on our network. We offer this service for IRC "Internet Relay Chat". We use FreeBSD (a UNIX based platform) for all our Hosting Servers.
We understand how crucial it is to have your processes online at all times. We have our shell machines hosted on nLayer where all our servers are limited firewalled with filters on core routers to help mitigate the effects of DDoS. With their network infrastructure and our servers hosted with them we can offer outstanding service.
Many IRC users will get a DDoS attack, this doesn't mean you will be suspended or removed, this is normal for all IRC connections. If the DDoS attack reaches over a certain threshold your IP will be nulled until the attack stops. This threshold is extremely high, If the attack comes close to filling up a gigE pipe it will be nulled.
